Hi, I'm Johannes.
Plants have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember: from gardening with my family as a child to my first collection as a teenager – back then, it was orchids. After a long break, my passion was rekindled during the pandemic. This time, however, I focused on aroids – the genus which includes many of our most popular houseplants!
My journey took me from philodendrons and monsteras to anthuriums. As a trained designer and lover of visual expression, I was immediately fascinated by their enormous variety of shapes, colors, and textures. What started as a passion for collecting quickly developed into something more: in addition to optimizing care, growth, and potential, the targeted breeding of new hybrids and exciting combinations became the focus of my work.
