Anthurium Papillilaminum 'Ree Gardens' (Large established clone - 151)
€450.00
Anthurium papillilaminum 'Ree Gardens' – one of the most sought-after papillilaminum clones in the hobby, offered here as a true vegetative clone of my own plant.
'Ree Gardens' refers to a legendary clone that came out of the nursery of Marie and Steve Nock in south Florida, founded in 1976 and closed in 2023. Its wild origin is Panama, and the phenotype points clearly to the Canal Zone ecotype.
What makes this clone stand out is its distinctive look: a narrow, elongated leaf shape with an open sinus, a deeply velvety, dark green surface, and petioles and leaf undersides streaked in reddish-purple. It is this combination of narrow form and heavy velvet that has made 'Ree Gardens' a benchmark plant among collectors.
Because this is a vegetative cutting, you receive a plant that is genetically identical to the original clone — not a seedling, self etc. with variable traits. You receive exactly the plant shown. one of my easiest plants so far!
