RL Backcross (RL s1 select JV x RL Clone) by Dwane Burgess (Nodeboi/ 150)

Anthurium Ralph Lynam Backcross – a variation of a Ralph Lynam self that has proven far more vigorous than a simple self. For this cross a select RL self S1 was used by Dwane (acquired from Jay Vannini) as the mother plant and backcrossed it with the original clonal plant.

The result is one of the fastest-growing papillilaminum ("Papi") forms in my whole collection — the extra vigour of this backcross is exactly what sets it apart from a standard self. It carries the classic Ralph Lynam qualities: a dark, velvety leaf with the refined form this line is known for.

Imported in 2024 from Dwane Burgess (Nodeboi on Instagram), it has been a strong, reliable grower for me since.

You will receive the exact cutting shown in the second picture (pictures 3 and 4 show the mother (s1) and the original clone for reference).

Care: bright indirect light, mid to high humidity, well-draining aroid mix.
